This spring, Ms Hill's 1st and 2nd Class pupils got creative by writing beautiful acrostic poems to celebrate the season! An acrostic poem is a fun type of poem where the first letter of each line spells out a word—in this case, "SPRING." The children had a wonderful time brainstorming words and ideas that represented spring, from blooming flowers to the cheerful sounds of birds chirping.
It was a fantastic way for them to express their creativity while learning about poetry in an enjoyable, hands-on way.
